TEACHING
I am fortunate to have worked with great teachers who were also my mentors. They were not only musically knowledgeable but also very supportive, helping me succeed in achieving my musical goals. Now I enjoy the opportunity to pass my knowledge and experience on to my students and inspire them through their musical journey.
Teaching is an important part of my professional career and has been for over 15 years.
I teach piano at one of the leading girls’ school in the county and in my studio in the south of Reading. I also coach students and lead performance workshops and masterclasses at various higher education institutions in the UK. Because of the effect of the pandemic I have adapted to online working and offer teaching via this method and also if students are unable to travel, for any reason.
I am experienced in helping conservatoire and university students preparing for their recitals and final exams and students working towards diploma exams (e.g. ABRSM and Trinity) as well as music professionals. I provide supervision in writing programme notes and accompanying and run workshops where we study the performance practice of specific periods.
